Job Summary:
A.S.P. Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Canine Explosives Detection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Canine Explosives Detection Services, you will be responsible for conducting explosives detection searches and sweeps of various locations, including office buildings, arenas, and airports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct explosives detection searches and sweeps of various locations, including office buildings, arenas, and airports.
- Maintain a high level of training and readiness to respond to suspicious packages, unattended vehicles, and other situations where explosives detection canines are required.
- Responsible for the 24-hour housing, care, and well-being of assigned dogs.
- Carry out security duties, including working indoors and outdoors under various conditions.
- Work indoors and outdoors as required, and be flexible and willing to work in unpredictable situations.
- Daily training on explosives detection and maintenance records compliance with Federal Regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum High School diploma or Grade 12 education.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Fully bilingual, French and English.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated individual with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Must possess a valid Security license, Ontario Drivers License (G or Higher) with a clear driving abstract and Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
- Must be willing to provide a Criminal Record check upon request.
- Security experience is an asset.
