Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Schreiber Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities- Verify prescription information and ensure accuracy
- Enter client information into our database system
- Prepare medications for clients, including compounding oral solutions, ointments, and creams
- Assist with scheduling and workflow management
- Bill third-party insurers and maintain accurate records
- Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records
- Interpret physician specifications and ensure compliance
As a Pharmacy Technician at Schreiber Pharmacy, you will work in a fast-paced community pharmacy environment, interacting with clients and healthcare professionals. You will be required to stand for extended periods, combine sitting, standing, and walking, and maintain attention to detail.
Requirements- College/CEGEP education
- Previous experience in the field of employment is an asset
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
