Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Community Therapists. As a pediatric OT, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including children with autism, brain injuries, and other developmental concerns. Your primary responsibilities will include community-based assessment and implementation of treatment plans to address various functional areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct community-based assessments to identify client needs and develop treatment plans
  • Implement treatment plans to address ADLs, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, visual perception, and other functional areas
  • Work with a diverse group of funders, including MCFD, CBIPCY, schools, and parents
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in continuous learning through professional development courses
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric OT work experience
  • 2 years overall clinical work experience preferred
  • Experience working with agency payers is a strong asset
