Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Trans Expert Freight System Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Key responsibilities include overseeing the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, as well as performing emergency roadside repairs and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections. The ideal candidate will have a valid Air Brakes Endorsement and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be willing to travel internationally and overnight. The work environment will be fast-paced and dynamic, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.
