Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver - Over the Road

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Trans Expert Freight System Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Requirements:

  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Willing to travel internationally
  • Willing to travel overnight

Work Environment: This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.
