About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at Church & Dwight Canada. As a key member of the team, you will provide financial guidance to the Marketing team by delivering financial insights and facilitating key decisions related to revenue, profitability, and return on investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including Brand P&Ls, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Revenue Management, to drive business growth and optimize financial performance.
- Lead in the preparation, analysis, and monitoring of brand profitability, including new product development and marketing program investments.
- Work closely with Brand Managers to ensure brand performance reporting and forecasting accuracy.
- Engage in the marketing month-end close process, analyzing financial information for entry to the general ledger.
Requirements:
- Professional Accounting Designation - CPA an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance with the CPG industry.
- SAP and Oracle experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Word.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to present data in a meaningful way and make recommendations.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
- Strong attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
