Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in planning, organizing, and delivering occupational therapy services to patients/clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and directing the delivery of occupational therapy services to ensure patients/clients receive comprehensive client-centered care.
  • Provide training, coaching, mentoring, and guidance to staff therapists and other team members.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of patients/clients.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient/client needs and develop effective treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree.
  • Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) and valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Ability to travel to various locations.
