Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Rite Spot Pizza & Steakhouse. As a key member of our kitchen management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for kitchen improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, highlighting areas for growth and development.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
