Job Title: Restaurant Operations ManagerWe are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position offering 30 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in food service management.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine Services and Operational Procedures: Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and implement efficient operational processes.
- Cash Handling and Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records, including cash reports and balance sheets.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure staff meet expectations.
- Cost Control: Analyze and optimize expenses related to food and supplies.
- Liquor Legislation Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial regulations and guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and excess stock.
- Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
- Supplier Negotiations: Establish relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms.
- Customer Relations: Foster positive relationships with clients for catering or facility use.
- Marketing Strategies: Participate in marketing initiatives to promote the business.
