Job Overview

At University Health Network, we are seeking a skilled Pipefitter Technician to join our Facilities Management team.

Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $40,000 per year

This is a permanent full-time position with 37.5 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair the hospital's piping systems;
  • Assemble and construct new piping installations;
  • Install pipes carrying water, steam, chemicals, or fuel for various processes;
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act regulations;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum completion of high school and Steamfitter/Pipefitter license;
  • 6,000 hours of on-the-job training and technical certification;
  • Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude;
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials;
  • Strong understanding of system operations and mechanics;
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills;
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and reports.
