About the Role

Fusion on the Lake Inc. is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team in a permanent position. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and handling.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure high-quality products meet our established standards.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods to drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Availability to work 30 hours per week.
