About the Role

Fusion on the Lake Inc. is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods to maximize revenue.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Work Environment

Fusion on the Lake Inc. is a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Baker, you will be working in a restaurant setting, preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods. You will be required to work a 30-hour week, with a permanent work term.

Language

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
