Director, Enterprise Risk

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. As Director, Enterprise Risk, you will be responsible for directing the ERM program across Lightspeed globally, promoting a risk management mindset, and identifying, assessing, and mitigating enterprise risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Research and analyze emerging risks and risk trends
  • Evaluate and leverage risk management software to mature the ERM program
  • Develop methodologies for monitoring enterprise risks and establishing key risk indicators (KRIs)
  • Support reporting on risk monitoring and KRIs to Executive Leadership and the Risk Committee
  • Manage risk documentation and infrastructure, including the enterprise risk register and risk taxonomy
  • Train and educate Lightspeeders on risk management best practices
  • Embed the ERM program into strategic planning and build key relationships with internal stakeholders

Requirements:
  • University degree in business, risk management, law, finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing an ERM program
  • Presentation skills to communicate risks and risk management strategies to Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors
  • Risk management certifications considered an asset
  • Past implementation of risk management software and processes is considered an asset
