With Porter Airlines Inc., we are seeking an exceptional Aircraft Safety Specialist to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers while consistently delivering our brand promise of Flying Refined. As a key member of our In-Flight Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Transport Canada regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Transport Canada regulations, and Porter policies to maintain a safe environment for all passengers.
  • Patient Service Delivery: Provide friendly and attentive service to maintain passenger comfort, resolving any issues efficiently.
  • Effective Communication: Develop and maintain positive relationships with team members, actively participating in Porter's Safety Management System (SMS).
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum Requirements: 19 years of age at time of employment, completion of secondary school, fluency in English, and a minimum of 2 years' experience working with the public in a customer service role.
  • Desirable Assets: Fluency in French, valid Canadian Passport or International Passport with current US Crewmember Visa (C-1/D), and ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
Work Environment and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. Our flexible scheduling allows you to work weekends and holidays, but also provides the opportunity to work a variety of shifts.
