Benign Hematology Position at Southlake Regional Health Centre

We are seeking a skilled Hematologist to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. This is a permanent hospital-based position with clinics run through the ambulatory day care medicine area of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hematology services to patients, including general hematology referrals and thrombosis/hemostasis
  • Participate in the hospital on-call schedule, with options for increased day call if desired
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research through the clinical trials program

This position offers a great work-life balance and can potentially be part-time with limited after hours/weekend coverage expected. The hospital has a large internist/hospitalist support system that provides primary care for all inpatients.

About the Hospital:

Southlake Regional Health Centre is a large 500+ bed full-service community hospital with regional programs including cardiovascular medicine and surgery, thoracic surgery, and cancer care. We offer full administrative and office support to our staff.
