We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Maternity Care Professional. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to new mothers and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including prenatal, postpartum, and newborn care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Two years' recent experience in a maternity setting with a labour and birth component
- Current neonatal resuscitation certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A competitive salary range of $41.42-$55.91 per hour
