Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food. This includes training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds
