Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Hot Meal Box Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food is prepared and served on time.
  • Hire, train, and develop food service staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and labor costs.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations and sales.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience in food service management, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
Work Environment

Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team of staff to provide exceptional customer service. You will be required to work in a kitchen environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
