Credit Risk Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Credit Risk Specialist to join our Global Banking and Advisory team at Societe Generale. This role will involve working with a dynamic team to manage a portfolio of large US corporates and subsidiaries of non-US groups in diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities- Credit Analysis: Prepare comprehensive credit applications and annual reviews of corporate counterparties, assessing their credit quality and recommending appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions.
- Financial Projections: Determine debt repayment capability while ensuring compliance with SGUS Credit Policies.
- Obligor Risk Ratings: Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings.
- Compliance: Monitor compliance with covenants.
- Legal Documentation: Review all relevant legal documentation and propose changes as necessary to comply with SGUS policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- 8-10 years as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, including financial statements analysis (P&L, BS, and CF).
- Proficiency using Word for written analysis and Excel for spreadsheet analysis.
- Knowledge of capital markets/traded products and committed financing facilities.
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement.
- A competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on experience.
- A minimum of 20 Vacation days + 4 personal days.
