In this role, you will be a valued member of Dawson Road Maintenance, working in a permanent full-time position as a Bridge Worker, reporting to the Bridge Foreman. Your base location will be Smithers, B.C., and you will require some travel throughout our great province.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden, steel, and concrete structures, deck resurfacing, and operating road and bridge maintenance equipment.
  • Assist in conducting detailed bridge inspections.

Requirements

  • Trade Journeyperson, preferred trades are Bridge workers, Iron workers, and welders.
  • Minimum three (3) years of bridge work experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of road maintenance and/or construction experience.
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 Driver's license is required.
  • Valid Certificate of Qualification in the trade of Piledriver and Bridgeman issued by the Province of BC Ministry of Labour.
