Job Title: Truck Trailer Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at D ALLIANCE MOTORS. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our commercial transport trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
  • Overtime required
  • Standing for extended periods
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. As a Truck Trailer Mechanic, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and may be required to work overtime.
