Job Title: Truck Trailer Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at D ALLIANCE MOTORS. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including engines, brakes, and fuel systems.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the maintenance and repair of commercial transport trucks and trailers.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with overtime required.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Steel-toed safety boots required.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week.
