Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Nilfisk Group. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our cleaning equipment in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment at customer sites or in our branch shop.
  • Complete all required reporting, including service work performed, time sheets, and other reports as set forth by the Branch Supervisor.
  • Ensure all training and certifications required for the position are maintained in an up-to-date and timely fashion.
  • Manage spare parts stock levels in the van to meet specified requirements.
Requirements
  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 5 years of relevant experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years of prior experience in a similar or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
  • Demonstrated levels of product knowledge, preferably obtained through hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system troubleshooting skills.
  • Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Valid Driver's License, DOT Certification.
