Job Summary

Advantage SCI is seeking a highly skilled Program Analyst to join our team. As a Program Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Personnel Security Unit by analyzing and improving business processes, providing technical advice, and assessing the productivity and effectiveness of program operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Process Improvement: Assist with conducting special studies to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Personnel Security Unit.
  2. Technical Advice: Provide expert advice on process improvement, performance management, and change management to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  3. Analysis and Reporting: Research and analyze complex issues surrounding business processes and database systems, and provide written reports as required.
  4. Performance Evaluation: Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
  5. Process Improvement: Make recommendations to improve processes and work efficiencies in the Personnel Security Unit.
  6. Communication and Collaboration: Plan, develop, and coordinate management activities through briefings, presentations, and conferences for supervisors, managers, and senior officials.
  7. Reporting and Analytics: Provide customized reports and trend analysis for metric requests.
  8. Security and Compliance: Properly safeguard Privacy Act Protected Information and Personal Identifiable Information.
  9. Support to Personnel Security Unit: Assist the Personnel Security Unit with any personnel security & suitability tasks identified.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  2. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years' experience in performing project or program management analyst duties, including using qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of security or operational programs.
  3. Citizenship and Clearance: Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  4. Communication and Collaboration: Experience drafting project papers and staff reports, and skill in organizing and delivering briefings to managers to encourage understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
  5. Reporting and Analytics: Experience in creating reports to brief data analytics, program trends, results of special studies and projects as assigned.
  6. Teamwork and Time Management: Ability to work collaboratively and productively as part of a team, and ability to independently prioritize in order to meet competing deadlines.
  7. Communication: Ability to communicate in an effective and coherent manner.
  8. Technical Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with experience working in business processing systems, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  9. Desired Experience: FDIC support experience is highly desired.
