Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with conducting special studies, providing technical advice and assessing the productivity, effectiveness and efficiency of the Personnel Security Unit program operations.
  2. Apply knowledge of process improvement, performance management, and change management in support of the organizations improvement of its Personnel Security Unit.
  3. Research and analyze basic and complex issues surrounding the processes and data base systems used in the Personnel Security Unit when needed and provide written reports as required.
  4. Analyze and evaluate on a quantitative or qualitative basis the effectiveness of line program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
  5. Make recommendations to improve processes and work efficiencies in the Personnel Security Unit.
  6. Plan, develop and coordinate management activities through briefings, presentations, and conferences for supervisors, managers, and senior officials.
  7. Provide customized reports and trend analysis for metric requests.
  8. Provide continuous review and improvement analysis for case management system and business system support.
  9. Properly safeguard Privacy Act Protected Information and Personal Identifiable Information.
  10. Assist the Personnel Security Unit with any personnel security & suitability tasks identified.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  2. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in performing project or program management analyst duties, including using qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of security or operational programs.
  3. Must be US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  4. Experience drafting project papers and staff reports and skill in organizing and delivering briefings to managers to encourage understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
  5. Experience in creating reports to brief data analytics, program trends, results of special studies and projects as assigned.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively and productively as part of a team, and ability to independently prioritize in order to meet competing deadlines.
  7. Ability to communicate in an effective and coherent manner.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively with experience working in business processing systems, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  9. FDIC support experience is highly desired.
