Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Treasury Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing daily treasury operations, ensuring accurate cash reporting, and assisting with bank structure management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting in-depth analysis on cash management, banking, interest rates, and foreign exchange to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Developing and enhancing existing cash flow forecasting models to optimize liquidity and minimize financial risk.
  • Monitoring and investigating daily cash movement to identify potential cash flow impacts and implement corrective measures.
  • Collaborating with finance teams to meet cash funding requirements and ensure adequate liquidity, while maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.
  • Providing regular cash flow updates and forecasts to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
  • Overseeing treasury operational functions, including bank wires, transfers, and payment releases, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assisting with the opening of new bank accounts and establishing relationships with payment providers to optimize cash management.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining financial institution relationships to minimize risk.
  • Suggesting improvements in reporting, workflow processes, and transaction services to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Preparing daily global cash reports and performing cash remittance responsibilities by region to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • University degree in finance or economics.
  • Professional certification in finance or accounting is a plus (CPA, CTP, CFA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in treasury or a related field.
  • Experience in cash flow forecasting and analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with handling large datasets.
  • Experience with Oracle and Vena is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and take initiative.
