About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury Central Office team at Scotiabank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of Treasury Central Office programs and initiatives to enhance Group Treasury's culture and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with Directors and Associate Directors to create governance documents, execute on trading controls, and monitor and manage non-financial risks in our business operations.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of People and Culture Programs to enhance Group Treasury's culture and employee experience.
  • Develop and leverage strong relationships with key business partners to drive business outcomes and improve processes.
  • Provide analytical and technical support to the Treasury Central Office team to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.

Requirements
  • Experience in business, finance, accounting, treasury, or project management.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse groups.
  • Good team building skills, with the ability to resolve issues and identify efficiencies.
  • Strong PC skills, with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
