Job Title: Human Resources Officer

ASIYANS is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and collecting and screening applicants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Collect and screen applicants, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Review candidate inventories and make recommendations for selection.
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and coordinate the selection process.
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill staffing needs.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a positive work environment.
  • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process.
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
