About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the Digby and Area Health Services Centre. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring the continuum of care with other healthcare providers within the practice and community.
  • Be accountable for an appropriate workload and practice, adhering to the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to best suit the community's health needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities, utilizing an electronic medical record (EMR) to record all relevant patient details.
  • Provide care and coordination of community-based care, secondary, and tertiary level healthcare services.

Qualifications:
