About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team at HC Diamond Roofing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and tools from vehicles and storage areas.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required for roofing projects.
  • Demolition Support: Assist in the demolition of buildings, ensuring that all materials are safely removed and disposed of.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, it is not necessary for this position.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required for effective communication with the team.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
