About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team at HC Diamond Roofing Ltd as a Roofing Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced roofers with various tasks related to construction and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Demolition Support: Assist in demolishing buildings and structures as part of our construction projects.
  • Site Cleanup: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
  • Language and Communication: Communicate effectively in English with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
