Job Summary

Olymel S.E.C/L.P. is seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanic to join our team. As an Electrical Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as performing on-site servicing and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Welding and Brazing: Weld or braze components as required.
  • On-Site Servicing: Perform on-site servicing and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide training and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Language: Fluency in French.
  • Specialized Skills: Green economy sector experience and specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, and a team player.
