Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are adequately trained to perform their tasks.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they are equipped to handle customer inquiries and sales.
  • Order merchandise and authorize the return of unsold items to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform management decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that stock levels are adequate and that products are easily accessible to customers.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and interact with customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
