Restaurant Manager Job Description

At Jimmy the Greek, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and be able to motivate and supervise a team of staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement efficient systems to manage daily tasks, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Recruit and Supervise Staff: Hire, train, and motivate a team of staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of food and other essential supplies.
  • Balance Cash and Complete Financial Reports: Maintain accurate financial records, balance cash, and complete reports to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve skills and productivity.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations to protect staff and customers.
