The Wood Buffalo Environmental Association (WBEA) is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating purchases and contracts for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure compliance with WBEA financial guidelines
- Manage and coordinate purchases and contracts, including the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
- Conduct and award proposals, recognizing bid flaws and correcting them
- Respond to requests for contract information, monitor contractor compliance, and ensure compliance with contract requirements
- Support purchasing and contract administration, including preparing purchase orders and maintaining purchasing records
- Collaborate with internal staff to develop contract scope and ensure compliance with external stakeholders
- Participate in periodic review of contracts, their applicability, clauses, and effectiveness
- Designation in Supply Chain Management would be considered an asset
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in procurement and contract management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain high levels of discretion when dealing with confidential information
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience with Fiix, Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Excel
