About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect to join our team at GMBC GROUP INC. as a key member of our design and construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Planning
    • Develop building plans and detailed drawings to meet client requirements
    • Conceptualize and design buildings, including structural needs and materials
    • Prepare documents showing design specifications, building materials, costs, and construction schedules
  • Project Management
    • Manage the coordination and integration of technical activities in architecture or engineering projects
    • Negotiate contracts with clients, focusing on design, construction time, price, or other key factors
    • Supervise the preparation of drawings, specifications, and other construction documents
  • Client Communication
    • Consult with clients to determine project requirements and preferences
    • Participate in contract negotiations and proposal preparation
    • Estimate costs and conduct feasibility studies of building projects
  • Site Supervision
    • Monitor activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications
    • Conduct site inspections and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
    • 5 years or more of experience in architecture or a related field
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Proficiency in architectural software programs, including AutoCAD and SketchUp
    • Excellent communication and project management skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and other personal protective equipment will be required on site.
