About the Role:
Midori is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook sushi dishes to the highest standards.
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure excellent food quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement new sushi recipes and menu items.
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen.
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
