Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Strategic Leadership: Lead the SAP project with a comprehensive understanding of Saint-Gobain's business processes and strategy. Engage regularly and collaborate closely with key stakeholders and business process owners to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate between IT, business process owners, business users, and leadership teams to drive innovation and operational efficiency through effective SAP solutions.
  • Project Execution: Accountable for project execution to achieve project vision and objectives within the project timeline.
  • Design Decisions and Risk Management: Facilitate key design decisions, manage interdependencies within the project, and resolve escalated issues and risks.
  • Process Integration: Collaborate with all streams to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency.
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction to the Business Process Owners (BPOs), ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Communication and Reporting: Ensure effective communication and reporting mechanisms to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress, issues, and risks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Governance and Methodologies: Ensure the project adheres to established governance standards and methodologies.
  • Culture and Collaboration: Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the project team.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Guide and mentor the BPOs in designing a cohesive set of processes supporting business requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, management, innovation, strategy).
  • Experience: 15-20 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or related roles.
  • Cross-Functional Experience: 15-20 years of progressive cross-functional experience in Innovation and other leadership roles, with the ability to work in and understand the dynamics of large and small operations, with a broad variety of manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of skills needed to adapt organizations to the 4th manufacturing revolution (4.0). Six Sigma, WCM, lean, or other continuous improvement methodology experience.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Combination of manufacturing plant operations and corporate office experience. Experience leading remote/virtual and hybrid teams.
  • Change Management: Proven ability to lead, shift, and sustain new cultures. Proven results in management and sustainment of change, employee engagement.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and innovation projects.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaboration and Adaptability: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strategic thinking and the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in French and English an asset.
