Job Title: Truck Driver Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at North Okanagan Pumping Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Requirements:

  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Excellent oral communication
  • Excellent written communication
