Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

MIDORI JAPANESE RESTAURANT is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our restaurant's operations.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a dynamic team environment, with opportunities for growth and development.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in our restaurant, and proficiency in English is required for this role.Hours:

30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
