Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Cenergy International. As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems in our processing plant and offshore production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems, including electrical and control systems, to ensure safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
  2. Test and inspect electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet established performance levels.
  3. Evaluate electrical and instrumentation systems to identify areas for improvement and develop plans for repair and maintenance.
  4. Document and verify problems and actions taken to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with other teams, including operations, engineering, and projects, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  6. Provide input and reviews on control specifications and work practices to ensure compliance with company standards.
  7. Responsible for electrical and control systems as defined in the Work Management Manual.
  8. Apply and follow work permits through the Permit To Work System (PTWS) as discussed in the Work Management Manual.
  9. Ensure the quality and timely completion of work scheduled by the Maintenance Program.
  10. Develop personal and team technical skills, including new regulations, equipment, methods, and others.
  11. Attend and instruct technical meetings to keep instrument and electrical technicians informed of the latest specifications, codes, procedures, and technology.
  12. Develop and maintain open communications on electrical and control issues with co-workers.
  13. Support work prioritization to maximize effectiveness and complement the efforts of other work groups.
  14. Provide technical support to other technicians for maintenance and troubleshooting on company's instrument and electrical systems.
  15. Generate Management of Change requests (MOCs) on electrical and control-related equipment and installation and follow up with installation inspections consistent with Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) Element 3.
  16. Construct, monitor, and inspect new installations for consistency with the mission and recommend upgrades as necessary.
  17. Act as a stand-in for the Instrument and Electrical Lead position as needed.
Requirements
  1. Education: Associate's degree preferably enhanced by related technical school courses.
  2. Experience: Experience in maintaining electrical systems and Instruments and Controls in processing plant or offshore production plant.
  3. General Technical Skills: Familiar with regulations applicable to the operations of oil and gas facilities OIMS systems, related manuals, and procedures.
  4. Specific Technical Skills: Meets the safety, administrative, and technical training requirements associated with this position as documented in the company operations-approved training roadmap.
  5. Competencies: Possesses the general competencies and Operations Integrity Critical competency requirements as documented and maintained in company Operations Training roadmap.
  6. Computing Skills: Requires various computing skills.
  7. Attitudes and Behavior:
