Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instrument and Electrical Technician II to join our team at Cenergy International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems in our processing plant and offshore production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Install and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment in accordance with established safety protocols and industry standards.
  2. Test and repair electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  3. Evaluate electrical systems and instruments to identify areas for improvement and develop plans for repair.
  4. Document and verify problems and actions taken to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and projects teams to support the development and implementation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  6. Provide input and reviews on control specifications and work practices to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures.
  7. Ensure the quality and timely completion of work scheduled by the Maintenance Program.
  8. Develop and maintain open communications with co-workers on electrical and control issues, including safe work practices, training, materials, and others.
  9. Support work prioritization to maximize effectiveness and complement the efforts of other work groups.
  10. Provide technical support to other technicians for maintenance and troubleshooting on company's instrument and electrical systems.
  11. Generate Management of Change requests (MOCs) on electrical and control-related equipment and installation, and follow up with installation inspections consistent with Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) Element 3.
  12. Construct, monitor, and inspect new installations for consistency with company mission and recommend upgrades as necessary.
  13. Act as a stand-in for the Instrument and Electrical Lead position as needed.
Requirements
  1. Education: Associate's degree preferably enhanced by related technical school courses.
  2. Experience: Experience in maintaining electrical systems and instruments and controls in processing plant or offshore production plant.
  3. General Technical Skills: Familiarity with regulations applicable to the operations of oil and gas facilities, OIMS systems, related manuals, and procedures.
  4. Specific Technical Skills: Meets the safety, administrative, and technical training requirements associated with this position as documented in the company operations-approved training roadmap.
  5. Competencies: Possesses the general competencies and Operations Integrity Critical competency requirements as documented and maintained in company Operations Training roadmap.
  6. Computing Skills: Requires various computing skills.
  7. Attitudes and Behavior:
