CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for maintaining our payroll system, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and providing expert advice on payroll-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining payroll system, including end-to-end processing and government reconciliation reporting/payments.
- Provide payroll expertise to the team, including tax, best practices, and legislation.
- Lead internal projects and audit payroll processing to ensure year-end accuracy.
- Provide advice on routine and complex payroll transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies, and collective agreements.
- Manage process improvement, modifications, updates, and enhancements in technology to ensure optimal performance in the delivery of payroll services.
Requirements:
- Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) certification is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, with knowledge of payroll systems and tax experience with different provinces.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fully bilingual in French and English.
- Experience with collective agreements, in a multi-jurisdictional environment, is an asset.
