About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at NT & T Floor Design. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation.
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Installation: Measure, cut, and install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients.
  • Removal and Preparation: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, preparing floors for new installations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Setting: Various locations
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
