About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at NT & T Floor Design. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a solid foundation for flooring installations.
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and repairs of damaged floor coverings, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Prepare floors for installations by removing existing coverings and contaminants, and conducting necessary tests to ensure a successful installation.
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials as needed to support installation projects.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in floor covering installation.
  • Ability to work in various locations and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
