About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at GTB Enterprises Inc. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to animals undergoing treatment and surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care and Handling: Safely handle and restrain animals for treatment and surgery, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Assisting Veterinarians: Provide support to veterinarians before, during, and after surgery, as well as assist with laboratory research and testing.
  • Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian.
  • Client Communication: Counsel clients on animal health care and provide education on animal behavior and nutrition.
  • Office Management: Perform various office management and clerical duties, including maintaining accurate records and managing inventory.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in a veterinary setting is an asset.
