Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Coatings Technician to join our team at Ideal Coatings & Fabrication Ltd. As a Coatings Technician, you will be responsible for applying protective coatings to metal products using various techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply protective coatings to metal products using automated spray painting and hand-held spray guns
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications
  • Select appropriate paint or mix paints to achieve desired results
  • Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
  • Experience: Will train
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
