Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Coatings Technician to join our team at Ideal Coatings & Fabrication Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to a variety of metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply coatings to metal products using automated spray painting and hand-held spray guns
  • Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications
  • Clean and maintain equipment, as well as organize and maintain inventory
  • Check the proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers, or other devices
  • Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment
  • First Aid Certificate
