Info-Tech Research Group, a leading IT research and advisory company, is seeking a highly analytical and creative thinker to join our Consulting Practice as a Senior Consultant, Management Consulting Expert. As a key member of our team, you'll work with clients to solve their most challenging problems with lasting solutions that deliver measurable client success.
Our Consulting Practice is an extension of our Research Organization, and we're growing quickly. We're looking for a talented individual who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-growing organization. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with small teams on multiple concurrent projects, delivering high-quality results and making a significant impact on our clients' success.
As a Senior Consultant, Management Consulting Expert, your key responsibilities will include:
- Project Delivery:
- Drive our consulting projects through each phase, developing project plans, understanding client needs and goals, and crafting assessment and recommendation deliverables.
- Present deliverables and reports to IT leadership and executive leadership teams, explaining methodologies, report findings, and sharing key trends and insights.
- Support consulting Managers and Directors on the consulting team's deliverables, creating compelling documents in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word to demonstrate solutions and strategies for our clients.
- Work with delivery managers to guide our customers through best practices for pre and post-project strategies, including communication plans, and helps to identify priorities for action planning based on Info-Tech research.
- Build and maintain client relationships with project stakeholders, project sponsors, and project managers.
- Business Development:
- Partner with Info-Tech business development leads and senior members of the consulting team to understand client needs and assist in developing proposals and statements of work.
- Play a role in business development activities, including new business opportunities, qualifications, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional advisory services, workshops, consulting engagements, and services to our clients.
- Practice Development:
- Work closely with the consulting practice leaders on strategic planning and go-to-market activities for Info-Tech's Consulting division.
- Identify best-practice recommendations to improve ongoing practice and project delivery.
- Support key internal initiatives from start to completion.
What We Look for:
- University degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of relevant experience within a management consultant capacity, specifically in owning client engagement/project delivery workstreams.
- Experience in developing consulting business, creating project proposals, RFP responses, and Statements of Work.
- Demonstrated client interaction experience in a consulting delivery and business development capacity.
- Career-driven self-starters who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-growing organization.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and collaborative abilities within a team environment, with an ability to manage tight timelines and multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills - advanced level user of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Able to work and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on high performance and delivery excellence.
Key Skills:
- Client Interaction & Facilitation: Build rapport with clients effortlessly and communicate effectively with clients both virtually and in-person.
- Project Management: Support project and budget management effectively and report on project progress in a timely manner. Support challenging negotiations, while managing scope and client expectations.
- Business Development: Support advisory sales leads through interactions with clients (i.e. analyst calls or project work) and proposal of Info-Tech services to fulfill client needs.
- Analytical: Identify trends in quantitative and qualitative data and link it to the project needs and desired outcomes. Structure a problem-solving process for problems of high complexity and drive important results. Demonstrate knowledge of client's decision-making framework and the ability to build buy-in.
- Verbal and Written Communication: Craft deliverables in a clear and concise manner with a polished, professional, and graphically appealing style. Demonstrate skill in building consensus and resolving conflict. Effective in communicating how we can meet client needs while managing
- Executive Presence/Presentation Skills: Interact and influence client stakeholders and executives through your daily interactions with clients.
- Business Strategy Development: Help formulate and design new approaches to assist client organization develop and mature new capabilities to accelerate operational and technical maturity.
