We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT professional to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada. As a Technical Infrastructure Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our enterprise and client/server environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily support, troubleshooting, and proactive maintenance for applications and services to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Support IT project designs, analysis, and implementation, focusing on key areas such as data storage, virtualization, application management, network operations, security, and collaboration tools.
- Analyze, detect, identify, and correct technical problems and deficiencies.
- Service request completion, including updating and communicating with customers.
- Determine proper installation parameters for software and hardware for smooth integration, transition, and efficiency.
- Installation and configuration of software(s), hardware support, operating system support, and application updates.
- Document hardware and software inventory, process and procedure creation, and documentation.
- Monitor and collect data on system performance, assist and train customers, and perform physical cleanup of work areas.
- Ensure all devices meet or exceed Security and Corporate policy requirements.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the disaster recovery plan for IT-related applications and systems.
- Identify areas of improvement to the IT infrastructure to meet evolving user and customer requirements.
- Develop key relationships with third-party vendors and peers from other General Dynamics Business units.
- University degree in Computer Science/SW Engineering or College level diploma with significant background and experience in IT infrastructure support and implementation activities.
- 4 to 5 years of related experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
